Did you know that 1 in 500 children is officially classified as "Visually Impaired"?
The charity VICTA (Visually Impaired Children Taking Action) provides support to children and young people who are blind or partially sighted, as well as their families. To help VICTA raise funds, I will be running two marathons - one wearing a Blindfold, with guide runners.Your donation will allow VICTA to provide activities that really make a difference to these children and young people, so I am delighted that you have decided to help me by donating, to ensure that they can enjoy life to the full.
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for your generosity.
Once again, thanks on behalf of the children and young people whose lives you are improving.

VICTA provides support to children and young people who are blind or partially sighted and their families.
VICTA was founded in 1987 by a group of parents who came together to support each other with the day-to-day issues of looking after a visually impaired child. They provided emotional support and worked together to ensure that their children were given the same opportunities as sighted children. They also supported each other through the minefield of obtaining the right educational provision for their children.
